Top four go to battle in SHC semis on Sunday
ALL attention turns to the hurling this weekend as the Dacia Cars Senior Hurling Championship and IHC semi-finals are up for decision.
Two very intriguing SHC clashes are down for decision on Sunday afternoon in Joule Park Aughrim with the meeting of Glenealy and St Pat’s followed by the clash of Carnew Emmets and Bray Emmets.
Can Garry Laffan’s charges put the brakes on Andy and George O’Brien or can Michael Neary’s men go one step further than last season by reaching the county decider?
In the other semi-final it’s the turn of James Hickey’s hurlers as they go up against Bray Emmets from 3.30pm.
The Carnew footballers are through to the Intermediate football final and Hickey will be hoping to guide his hurlers to the big day in the hurling calendar but Bray Emmets will take some stopping.
Avondale take on Carnew in the IHC semi-final on Saturday in Arklow while the Rocks and Kilcoole go head to head on Sunday in Dunbur Parl at 11am.
