Another gold for Miley’s collection
DUNLAVIN’S Alan Miley added another gold medal to his growing collection by winning the Leinster Schools Athletics combined event held in Abbotstown last week.
The talented Miley came out on top in the under-17 competition, winning by over 400 points which is even more impressive considering he can participate in this age group again next year.
The combined event involves competing in shot putt, long jump, 60m hurdles, 200m and 800m. Alan now goes forward to represent Leinster in the All Ireland finals on Saturday, October 13.
