Anna’s talk on Tolstoy
GREYSTONES Archeological and Historical Society will be play host to Anna Bykova on Thursday, October 18, who will give a talk on ‘Count Michael Tolstoy: Life in Myths, Suspicions and Exile’.
Anna was born in Russia but lives in Greystones, has spent many years researching the Tolstoy family and it will be very interesting to hear why Count Tolstoy settled in Greystones. Count Michael Kutuzov-Tolstoy (full name Michael Pavlovich Golenishchev-Kutuzov-Tolstoy) and his wife Countess Myriam Kutuzov-Tolstoy, lived in Ireland from 1951-1980. They lived in Easton House, Delgany. The meeting will be held in the Kilian Family Centre, Holy Rosary Church at 8 p.m.
