Anna’s talk on Tol­stoy

GREYSTONES Arche­o­log­i­cal and His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety will be play host to Anna Bykova on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 18, who will give a talk on ‘Count Michael Tol­stoy: Life in Myths, Sus­pi­cions and Ex­ile’.

Anna was born in Rus­sia but lives in Greystones, has spent many years re­search­ing the Tol­stoy fam­ily and it will be very in­ter­est­ing to hear why Count Tol­stoy set­tled in Greystones. Count Michael Ku­tu­zov-Tol­stoy (full name Michael Pavlovich Golen­ishchev-Ku­tu­zov-Tol­stoy) and his wife Count­ess Myr­iam Ku­tu­zov-Tol­stoy, lived in Ire­land from 1951-1980. They lived in Eas­ton House, Del­gany. The meet­ing will be held in the Kil­ian Fam­ily Cen­tre, Holy Rosary Church at 8 p.m.
