Strategy talk is deferred

DISCUSSIONS due to take place in Wicklow County Council Chamber last on the Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES) has been deferred until later in the month.

The item was part of the agenda for the meeting but Council Cathaoirleach, Cllr Pat Vance asked the members if the discussions could be deferred until the document has been released.

‘ Today we would just be discussing a pre-draft that could well change,’ said Cllr Vance.

It was agreed to hold a special meeting of Wicklow County Council this Monday, starting at 7 p.m.

Towards the end of the meeting the proposal to have the meeting was deferred to another October date to be confirmed pending publication of the Draft RSES report.
