Waveoflight
Wave of Light takes place at the seafront in Bray on Monday, October 15, at 8 p.m. opposite Star amusements.
October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month and the event will be part of an international ‘Wave of Light’.
This is the third year of Bray’s involvement.
It has been very well attended and a poignant evening of remembrance.
Bring a candle and something to put it in like a jam jar.
The candles will be lit in memory of the losses experienced by mothers and fathers. They will also be releasing pink and blue balloons to represent the lost babies or pregnancies.
The evening will raise money for Their Lives Matter, founded by Irish paediatric oncologist (and Bray local) Dr Patricia Scanlan, to help children with cancer in Tanzania.
Tickets are €100 and available at weartlm.org.
