The Alzheimer Café meets on the last Thurs­day of each month from 2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their new venue, Sun­beam House Ser­vices, Cedar In­dus­trial Es­tate, Kil­lar­ney Road.

The Alzheimer Café is a re­laxed place where peo­ple with de­men­tia, their fam­i­lies and friends, health and so­cial care pro­fes­sion­als come to­gether for ed­u­ca­tion and sup­port over a cup of tea.

It is a safe space where peo­ple can share ex­pe­ri­ences and talk about de­men­tia.

This is a vol­un­tary joint ini­tia­tive by St Colum­cille’s Hos­pi­tal and Com­mu­nity Health in South Dublin and Wick­low. It is free of charge.

They wel­come peo­ple with all types of de­men­tia and their fam­i­lies or car­ers
