Wicklow group to support Sean Gallagher

-

A Wicklow campaign group has been established in support of Seán Gallagher’s bid for the Presidency.

The former investor on RTE’s Dragon’s Den was ahead in the polls for the 2011 Presidential race, before losing out after the infamous Tweetgate incident on RTE.

Sean, his wife Trish and their children Lucy and Bobby moved to the Garden County in 2013, firstly settling in Enniskerry before moving to Delgany where they currently reside.

The recently formed Wicklow4Sean group held their first meeting in Bray last week.

Main organiser Stephen Kearon said lively discussions took place in order to try ad get Mr Gallagher as large a vote in County Wicklow as possible.

‘We were delighted with the large turnout,’ said Mr Kearon.

‘We had people from Bray to Ballinaclash, Arklow to Aughrim, Wicklow town to Woodenbridge who turned up to assist with the campaign to have Seán Gallagher elected as our next President.

‘ There was a mixture of backgrounds. Some are members of political parties but most are not. We want Seán to get plenty of Wicklow support, especially since he ad his family have made County Wicklow their home’.

Anyone interested can contact the group on twitter @Wicklow4Sean, Facebook.com/Wicklow4Sean or via the website www.wicklow4sean.ie.
