Druid’s Glen hosts golf festival

DRUIDS Glen Hotel and Golf Course is currently holding a ‘Festival of Golf ’ which features various events taking place across both courses.

Last week the Druids Glen course hosted Men’s and Ladies Open Singles (full handicaps), Open Fourball Betterball Stableford (90 per cent handicaps), Open Scramble (strokes 1/10 handicaps) and Open Four Person Team Event Stableford.

Activities continue this week until Friday, October 12, on Druid’s Heath and will include similar events.

The entrance fee €25 per person. In addition, all participants will go into a special draw for prizes including an overnight stay, Health Club membership and Druids Heath membership, among other top prizes. There are also several daily prizes such as Nearest the Pin competition and Longest Drive competition and there is 20 per cent off all retail items in the golf shop throughout the ‘Festival of Golf ’.
