‘After Renvyle’ debuts at Broken Chair Café

-

WELL-KNOWN Arklow actor Ken Moroney will debut his new one-act play, ‘After Renvyle’, in The Broken Chair, Moneylands, on Friday, October 19, and Saturday, October 20.

Theatre lovers are in for a real treat when the cast of Daniel J. Healy, Neasa McCann and Maura Lavelle take to the stage at 8 p.m. nightly. The performance will be followed by a prosecco reception where the audience can meet and chat with the cast and crew.

Even 50 years after their first date, a couple cannot forget the love they shared, and the heartbreak that came from it. ‘After Renvyle’ reminds us of the poignancy of what might have been. The play is written and directed by retired secondary school teacher Ken, who has appeared in countless productions in the south east in an amateur drama career that spans nearly 40 years. He is looking forward to performing in Arklow and subsequent performances in seven drama festivals around the country.

Tickets are €15, on sale in Le Chef Deli, Main Street, Arklow from 10 to 11 a.m. and The Broken Chair Cafe from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday. Early booking is advised.
