Coolboy’s Chris wins Junior crown

CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Doyle from Coolboy Handball Club who secured the All-Ireland Junior 60x30 handball crown last weekend after defeating Tipperary’s Kevin Dempsey in Kilkenny.

The final was played in Kilfane and saw the Coolboy man go down in the first set by 21-5 after a nervy start.

However, Doyle dominated the next two sets to claim the All-Ireland crown and continue on his upward curve in the sport of handball.

Chris Doyle beat Cavan’s Paul Fitzpatrick in the All-Ireland semi-final in Virginia by 21-5, 21-7.
