Wicklow Cheviot meeting
WICKLOW Cheviot Sheepowners in association with Wicklow IFA are hosting a hill sheep meeting on Thursday October 25th at 8pm in the Glendalough Hotel.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss all issues relating to farming in the uplands and to recognise the hugely important role that Hill and commonage farmers provide in maintaining and protecting the biodiversity of upland habitats
Guest speakers on the night will be IFA Hill Chairman Flor McCarthy and Minister of State Andrew Doyle along with local politicians. We will also be discussing the recent Budget and its implications for the farming sector
