Wicklow Cheviot meeting

WICKLOW Cheviot Sheepowner­s in associatio­n with Wicklow IFA are hosting a hill sheep meeting on Thursday October 25th at 8pm in the Glendaloug­h Hotel.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss all issues relating to farming in the uplands and to recognise the hugely important role that Hill and commonage farmers provide in maintainin­g and protecting the biodiversi­ty of upland habitats

Guest speakers on the night will be IFA Hill Chairman Flor McCarthy and Minister of State Andrew Doyle along with local politician­s. We will also be discussing the recent Budget and its implicatio­ns for the farming sector
