Run the Line for the DWMRT

THE Run the Line fundraiser in aid of the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team is fast approaching and will consist of two races starting and finishing at Glencullen Adventure Park.

The inaugural event took place in 2016, beginning and ending at Lamb Doyle’s pub in Sandyford. The race has gone from strength to strength since and the decision was made in 2017 to move the start and finish line to Glencullen Adventure Park.

This year’s event takes place on Saturday, November 10, and will include a 13km and a 26km race across the mountains, taking in many spectacular locations along the way. The course caters for both the seasoned hill-runner, and also those who want to give the hills a try for the first time.

An early bird offer with reduced entry fee of €39 will be offered to the first 100 people to register, after which the standard price of €49 will apply. It is recommended that participants don’t lave it until the last minute to register as both the 2016 and 2017 races sold out in advance. People can also show their support by texting ‘DWMRT’ to 50300 to donate €4.
