Young Wicklow stars of the future shine bright
NINE different acts took to the stage to showcase their considerable talents at the Starz of Wicklow 2018 competition run by Stagebratz Starz.
The judges for the event held at Lynham’s hotel were Zoe Patterson, Sully O’Sullivan and Janine Brennan. Frankie Sports in Wicklow town provided the trophies and medals.
‘We have held the competition for the past few years and it has proved very successful. It’s a great platform for young kids in Wicklow to show off their talent,’ said Patrice Brady Carton of Stagebratz Starz.
The competition was open to children aged between six and 14 years of age. Finishing first was Elana Patton, aged 14, who sang ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from Les Misérables.
