Free parenting course to tackle problems

-

A FREE course for parents of children aged six to 11 will be taking place in Bray from November 6. The course is suitable for those wishing to learn how to tackle behaviour problems, communicate more positively, and develop a closer relationship with their children.

THE course is being put on by Bray Area Partnership and will run every Tuesday morning for six weeks. ‘ THE Parents Plus Children’s Programme is an evidence-based parenting programme that aims to promote confidence, learning and positive behaviour in children aged six to 11,’ said tutor Sinéad Rourke.

‘WE’VE had great feedback from parents who have done the course – they say their relationship with their child improved and they loved the friendly and supportive nature of the group.’

To sign up call Sinéad on 01 2868266. This training is provided through the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) 2018-2022, funded by the Irish Government through the Department of Rural and Community Development and co-funded by the European Social Fund under the Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning.
