50 years of Blessington AFC
‘FROM strong roots grow big trees’.
That’s certainly the case for Blessington AFC who were delighted to host their 50th anniversary celebrations at Killashee House last weekend.
It was a fitting tribute to the club’s history and to its members, past and present. The evening saw some of the original founding members in attendance.
Blessington AFC was founded by a group of local lads back in 1968. The intervening years has seen huge growth with the club going from strength to strength.
Today Blessington AFC boasts over 300 members and continues to thrive, the club is looking forward to a bright future!”
