TAKE BACK KILCOOLE

A valiant effort was made by the committee to inform everybody in the village about the proposed housing and town centre development at Bullford by Kimpton Vale Ltd.

We are aware of at least 130 submissions were sent in from residents to An Bord Pleanala by the deadline. A big well done and thank you to everybody for their rapid response and concerted efforts to halt this process in order for it to be returned to Wicklow County Council.

An Bord Pleanala are now obliged to acknowledge all submissions which will then be forwarded to the council and the County Manager will then prepare a report on the case. It is not known when further updates will be given but residents can be assured that their efforts cannot be ignored by An Bord Pleanala.
