Motorist drove off without paying for fuel

A MAN who admitted driving off without paying for petrol appeared last Thursday at Bray District Court.

Evan Byrne (25), 9 Hazelwood, Bray, committed the offence on September 22, 2017. He drove away from Applegreen in Rathnew without paying for €55 worth off fuel.

Byrne also admitted that on August 24, 2017, at 2 a.m., he was stumbling around Kindlestown Road and swaying from side to side.

The matter was adjourned to November 26 for mitigation and penalty.
