Great art sales at the harvest festival
A range of paintings, ceramics, stoneware and sculptures featured as part of the art exhibition in Calary Church over three days as part of the local harvest festival.
The festival also featured a plant and country produce sale and a Harvest Thanksgiving service.
A large crowd attended the opening of the exhibition by Cllr Shay Cullen on the Friday night. There were over 170 exhibits, all by local artists, and all commission proceeds went directly to charity. A steady stream of visitors continued attending throughout Saturday and Sunday, despite some unfortunate weather. There were plenty of sales recorded throughout the weekend.
A plant and country produce took place on Saturday, with all the proceeds going to the Friends of Life child sponsorship. The festival culminated on Sunday with a Harvest Service followed by a delicious harvest tea.
