Lots of Glencormac United team’s in action over the weekend. The under-eights played four games v Sporting Greystones and won two and lost two. Ruby Devlin put in a great display in all the matches and some say she could be as good as her ‘Uncle Shane’ in the future but well done Ruby and all the under-eights.

The under-nines played Greystones and won one, drew one and lost two. There were fantastic performances by Luke Dunne and Killian Kearns in these games.

The under-10s had a 4-0 Win over St Anthony’s in a tighter game that the scoreline might suggest. Seán Prendergast was in great form and he scored a superb hatrick with man of the match Cian Levins also hitting the net in a great team performance.

The under-11s played Wolfe Tone and lost 5-2 in a good game (Sorry no other details).

The under-13 Wicklow County Side beat the SDFL 4-0 over the weekend featuring two Glens Players. Daniel Monaghan and Finn Kelly both represented the club and also their families very well and everyone at Glencormac United are very proud of them.

The under-14s are going well in the shield and had another win on Sunday, defeating Greystones 3-0. Oisin Kelly scored twice with John Fox adding the third in another super team performance. The Glens started off slow but then got into their stride and started creating chances and midway through the half they got the opener through John Fox with some lovely play. Then with about five minutes left to the break, Oisin Kelly got on the score sheet to leave it 2-0 at halftime. The second half was much the same as the first half with Glens playing some good football and Oisin Kelly popped up to get his second of the game and give the Glens a 3-0 win and keep us joint top of the table.

The seniors had no premier game but won a high scoring game away to Greystones on Sunday afternoon with the returning Nay Watters netting four times.
