Under-14s trounce Cats

-

ARKLOW under-14s traveled down to Kilkenny in the SE league in search of a much needed win having lost their last three matches, with Kilkenny only getting their players back from hurling in the last two weeks Arklow’s chances were good.

Deciding to play into the wind for the first half, Arklow started the brightest and were much sharper than Kilkenny.

With in the first six minutes Arklow had scored three tries, and now Arklow started to go on the rampage scoring three more tries before half time.

The second half started much the same as the first, now Arklow were in full control of the game, and all their training started to take effect, with great ball handling and forwards linking up with backs Arklow completely blew Kilkenny away by scoring another seven tries in the second half.

This was a great team performance by Arklow, and some fine kicking from Charlie Graham who kicked eleven conversions. Final score on a memorable day was Kilkenny 0, Arklow 92
