MASS OF REMEMBRANC­E

Our annual Mass of Remembranc­e Service of Light will take place on Saturday, November 3, at 6 p.m. This Mass is for parishione­rs, who died between September 15 and September 14 and whose funerals took place from either Roundwood or Moneystown Church. There is a Remembranc­e Mass in February 2019 for Parishione­rs/Former Parishione­rs, whose funerals took place in other Parishes.

SHEEP DOG TRIALS

A reminder that the sheep dog trials will take place on yjod Thursday, November 1.

WILLS AND POWER OF ATTORNEY

A talk followed by a discussion on Wills and Enduring power of Attorney will be hled on the Wednesday, November 28, at 8 p.m. in the Parish Centre. The talk will be given by a qualified legal practition­er.

SALE OF WORK

Roundwood and Moneystown Christmas Sale of work will take place in An Tochar GAA Complex on Sunday, December 2, from 12 4 p.m. A great day out for all the family with something for everyone. All donations for the various stalls will be gratefully accepted and can be left with Maureen in the parish office between 9.30 and 1 p.m. (Mon-Thurs) before November 29

TABLE QUIZ

A date for your diary. – Roundwood Golf Society will hold thier annual table quiz Night In aid of Roundwood senior citizens Christmas party which will take place in Kavanagh’s Vartry House on Friday, November 2, at 8.30 p.m. Your support will be appreciate­d. Items required for Spot Prizes/Raffle Prizes. All donations will be gratefully accepted.

Monica Brady continued her success on Friday, October 26, taking first place for North/South with regular partner June Digby, second Rachel Judd and Molly Byrne, third Maria Magee and Judy Skates and fourth Maura Gaskin and Bridie Nolan. Marion Davis and Teresa Leahy played their cards right for East/West, second Noeleen Redmond and Mairead Fallon, third Liz Belton and Phil Kenna and fourth Paddy O’Brien and John Loscher.

SET DANCING

Set dancing in Kavanagh’s every Thursday night from nine till 11 p.m.

MORNING BADMINTON

Morning badminton has resumed on Tuesday morning from 9.30 p.m.

CAR BOOT SALE

It is proposed to have our November car boot sales on the second Sunday of the month on November 10.

ROUNDWOOD WHIZZERS

Roundwood Whizzers Walking Group are back in action meeting at 7 p.m. every Wednesday at the Coach House car park. All welcome to walk at your own pace for approximat­ely one hour.

CEILI DANCING LESSONS

Adult ceili dancing classes are held every Wednesday night in the parish hall from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Learn to solo dance and also group dances under the tuition of Aoife, Cian and Eimear and have great fun learning.

A 45 Card Game takes place every Tuesday night in Moneystown Community Centre starting at a new time of eight. pm for the winter months beginning on October 30 Tea served.
