Reggie Corrigan visits Open Door
REGGIE Corrigan paid a visit to Open Door day centre recently to present them with the proceeds of his recent golf classic.
After costs, a total of €6,700 was raised through the event. The funds raised will go towards the many activities available for adults with physical disabilities at Open Door.
‘Many thanks to all who supported this event through sponsorship, team entry and donations,’ said Suzanne Cox of Open Door.
Former rugby international is a patron and dedicated supporter of Open Door.
The golf classic took place in September at Bray Golf Club. The winning team members were George Hunter, Syl Fox, Ken O’Brien and Cyril Fox, with Reggie’s team coming second.
It was a great day of golf, followed with a meal, prize giving, and entertainment with Syl Fox.
The Reggie Corrigan Open Door Golf Classic takes place each year, and is always a fun and uplifting event.
Activities at Open Door including physiotherapy, art, ceramics, woodwork and music.
