Women encouraged to join development programme
TWO Co Wicklow businesswomen are encouraging their fellow female entrepreneurs to sign up to the Going for Growth development programme before the today’s deadline for entries passes by.
Going for Growth is a six-month parttime programme, sponsored by Enterprise Ireland and KPMG, which assists ambitious female entrepreneurs to achieve their growth aspirations.
Both Alison Stroh from Dr Coy’s Health Food in Greystones and Aisling Callaghan from Wilson Security in Bray were involved in the last cycle of the programme and recommend it to others.
Ms Stroh said she found the roundtables ‘very beneficial for sharing learnings’ with other start-ups and that she was ‘ truly inspired’ by her lead entrepreneur’s ‘energy, commitment and passion for the business.’
Ms Callaghan said the programme was a fantastic opportunity to ‘ look at my business and focus on moving forward with a clear and crisp plan for growth.’
‘I now have more confidence and belief in my own competencies and feel better equipped to achieve my goals and objectives,’ she said.
