Teams from third and fourth classes took part. The focus on the day was on participation. All teams demonstrated excellent teamwork, skill and fantastic ground hurling.

Two ‘Young Whistlers’ from Kilcoole Primary School, Maeve Butler and Nessa Drumgoole, did a fantastic job refereeing the games. Well done to all who took part and to Garrett Doyle for organising the day.

The participating teams included Scoil Chualann, Newtownmountkennedy, Kilcoole, St Fergals, St Cronans, St. Laurence’s, St Pat’s and Gaelscoil Ui Cheadaigh.

The final Indoor hurling/camogie blitz will take place on November 30 in Shoreline, Greystones.
