‘We’re going in the right direction’

‘WE are going places in the right direction,’ was Bryan’s Doyle’s synopsis of the commercial and PR aspects of Wicklow GAA at the Review meeting in Ballinakill.

‘We really are thinking across a broad area on this,’ he began.

‘We’ve done a lot of work on the database (of companies). There are a lot of businesses in the county, some you wouldn’t know a whole lot about. Whether they have anybody working locally or with a GAA connection that would give us an in, but I suppose if we don’t ask, we won’t know. With the help of Leinster, especially, we have a fine website now, our social media is good, got great coverage in the Wicklow People, so, I think we are going places, in the right direction. I think we have a big product to sell.

‘The message is that we are a Garden of opportunity,’ he added.
