Andy McEvoy Premier

Table-toppers St Peter’s and Ashford Rovers came away with a point apiece after a scoreless stalemate in their Andy McEvoy Premier Division clash on Sunday.

Ashford were playing their first league game of the season and they started their campaign in solid enough fashion.

Clear-cut chances were few and far between for either side, but when any opportunities did come they were dealt with by the respective goalkeepers.

Elsewhere, Arklow United and Glencormac United shared the spoils after a 3-3 draw (see focus match).
