Last year’s finalists were in a good position in the group after winning their opening game against PSG but two away defeats to Napoli and Red Star Belgrade make their progressive into the last sixteen anything but straight-forward.

A third successive away defeat and they would be hanging by a thread and possibly facing elimination from the Champions League and facing the somewhat dreaded Europa League.
