A man who locked himself into his house with a knife and threw a table at his mother, is young enough to improve his life, according to a judge.

Gareth Grogan (32), 260 Charleland Park, Greystones, appeared in Bray District Court on Thursday, November 22.

The court heard that on September 3 at around 9 p.m., gardaí were called to his home address where he was drunk and abusive. He eventually came out of the house voluntarily.
