Wicklow GAA pays tribute to Sheamus

-

THERE was a deep sense of sadness within the Wicklow GAA community this week with the news of the passing of Wexford stalwart Sheamus Howlin.

Wicklow GAA officials said that the former Wexford GAA Chairman was a ‘great friend’ to Wicklow GAA.

‘Wicklow GAA extends its sincere sympathy to the Howlin family on the sad passing of Sheamus. He was a former Chairperson of Wexford and Leinster GAA.

‘Sheamus was a gentleman and a great friend to Wicklow GAA in and outside administration at which he excelled. His advice and guidance was sought regularly and he never failed to deliver.

‘Deepest condolences to his wife Vera, sons Gavin Donal and Derek sister Eileen and extended family,’ they added.
