St Kevin’s crowned

THE Senior ‘B’ camogie final between St Kevin’s CC and Avondale CC in Dunlavin was an excellent game between two well matched teams on Monday afternoon.

The spirit and skill levels of both sides were commendable on a heavy pitch.

Avondale led 3-2 to 2-1at half-time and it was only with the last puck of the game that St Kevin’s drew level at 3-3 each.

The Dunlavin school proved stronger in extra-time for a deserved win. Full report next week.
