Congratulations to Liam Connelly, Jennifer Wood, Aisling Baird and Harry Jacobs, who qualified to the next round of the maths olympiad competition in UCD this week.

Waterford Institute of Technology gave a careers talk to senior students last week.

Our under-15 boys soccer team ensured qualification from their group with a comfortable victory against NWETSS. A total of 20 players have now been used in their last three matches and competition for places is heating up. Well done to captain Harry Broxson and the rest of the panel on a successful season to date.

Training for our first and second year boys basketball teams has commenced and will continue every Monday and Wednesday after school. Both competitions commence after Christmas.

Congratulations to both basketball teams as they have qualified for the semi-finals in the respective age groups. Both teams played matches against St Mary’s of Arklow this week and it was two exciting game as always.

Good luck to the under-16s who will play Woodbrock College in their semi-final this Friday, November 23. Also good luck to the under-19 girls who will meet St Mary’s again for their semi-final. It has been a busy and challenging season. Go n-éirí an t-ádh libh.

Another action packed week for out TY’s dominated by the preparations for work experience that is starting on Monday, December 3. Our students will be traveling far and wide with some really exciting opportunities being taken advantage of. We have several students traveling overseas, to the UK, Spain and even Australia. We wish them all well and please do be kind if you see them around. Sent from my iPad.
