RATHNEW

To all our members and supporters we hope you had a brilliant Christmas and that Santa was good to all our little legends. We wish you all a happy and peaceful new year.

There was an enjoyable afternoon on St. Stephen’s Day as the over-30s played the under-30s. The match ended up as a draw with some good and some not so good football played. Hopefully it’s the start of a new tradition which we can build on for next year.

Lotto results for December 24. Numbers drawn were: 13, 18, 20, and 24. No winner.

There were two match threes: Peter Kane c/o Tina Nolan, Trina Gorman c/o Leighton Glynn.

Next draw is on January 7. Anyone who is interested in selling lotto tickets please contact Bobby or any committee member.

A very happy birthday to our senior manager Harry who had a milestone birthday on Saturday.

We send our sincere condolences to the families of Mary Jameson and John Franey who sadly passed away over the Christmas. May they both rest in peace.

ANNCURRA

As 2018 comes to a close we want to thank everyone who helped in any way to keep the club going.

It takes a lot of time and effort and thanks to everyone for giving up their time.

We want to thank two of our committee members who are retiring this year after many years service. Ann O’Brien and Declan Byrne. You have both earned a well deserved rest.

Finally, we wish every one a happy 2019.

Wasn’t the best year for our club but we ended on a positive note with our amalgamation with Shillelagh GAA Club and look forward to working with them on our new adventure!

For two sets of the club’s juveniles, the young camógs and the under-13 hurlers, the year ended with very enjoyable events.
