Heartbreak at the death of Lucy (6)

THERE is heartbreak in Greystones this week at the death of six-year-old Lucy Leahy, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour some months ago.

Lucy passed away at home yesterday (Tuesday) morning. She is survived by her parents Catherine and Marc and big brother Ryan, as well as her grandfathers Albert Leahy and Frank Slevin. Last April, a campaign was started to help Lucy have some happy memories. Lucy Lou’s Dreams raised more than €30,000 in one week.

Arrangements are being finalised with the funeral expected to take place later this week.
