Gardaí investigating series of burglaries
GARDAI are investigating a series of burglaries on non-retail business premises in Little Bray.
The family resource centre in Fassaroe was broken into overnight between Christmas Day and St Stephen’s Day.
A number of items were taken, including laptops, and the thieves left the premises in disarray.
Subsequently, a similar incident occurred at St Peter’s School last Thursday night into Friday morning, when the burglars got away with a small money box. There was also a break-in over the past week at an office premises in the Egan Centre on the Dargle Road.
Superintendent Pat Ward has asked anyone from that particular area to come forward if they have any information.
He said that there have also been a number of residential burglaries recently in the Kilmacanogue area, in particular in the Rockfield Park area.
He said that the incidents have occurred in the early hours of the morning. Should a description of a vehicle become available, he said that gardaí will circulate that information.
