Gethings off to a flying start in 2019
COOLBOY jockey Ciarán Gethings recorded a New Year’s Day double at Fakenham last week.
Gething’s steered six-yearold mare Ceara Be home in the feature handicap for trainer Alex Hales.
Ceara Be stormed home to victory at 5/1 to claim the £7,000 pot for the race.
In the final race of the day, Gethings, who rides out of the PJ Hobbs stable, managed to get Havana Hermano home by a nose to complete a super day for the Coolboy man.
