Dates for Your Diary in 2019 - Fixtures - Term Two and Three – Focus on Indoor Blitzes are non-competitiv­e; outdoor are competitiv­e

Third/fourth Class Indoor Boys’ Football - Indoor football tournament for boys in third and fourth class. The emphasis in this competitio­n is on participat­ion and sport for all, seven-a-side. Week beginning January 14, your school will be contacted with venue and time.

O’Kelly Cup - Indoor Girls Football - Indoor football tournament for girls in third and fourth Class. The emphasis in this competitio­n is on participat­ion and sport for all – No age limit, seven-a-side. Week beginning January 21, your school will be contacted with venue and time.

Camogie Participat­ion Blitz – Wednesday, February 6. Outdoor camogie blitz in Ballinakil­l at 11.45 a.m. The emphasis in this competitio­n is on participat­ion and sport for all – No age limit, nine-a-side. Full rules.

Boys’ Football Allianz Coughlan Cup Day 1 – February 27/28 at Bray Emmets: Eleven-a-side and no age limit at 11.45 a.m. Teams will be graded on this day. Your school will be contacted regarding which day you will be attending. Points only, no goalkeeper.

Girls’ Wicklow Times Shield Day 1

– March 6 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – nine-a-side. Teams will be graded on this day. Goalkeeper, points worth three, goals worth one point.

Boys’ Football Allianz Coughlan Cup Day 2 – March 13 and 14 at Bray Emmets: Eleven-a-side at 11.45 a.m. Teams will be in divisions from Day 1 and this is a competitiv­e competitio­n. Your school will be contacted regarding which day you will be attending. Full rules.

Girls’ Wicklow Times Shield Day 2 – March 20 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – nine-a-side. Teams will be in divisions from Day 1 and this is a competitiv­e competitio­n. Full rules.

INTO Skills Challenge - Two pupils per school may participat­e in each discipline - Boys’ and Girls’ Football, Camogie and Hurling.)

Please note if a child has already played in Croke Park they cannot take part in the skills competitio­n. Participan­ts must be born on or after January 1, 2007.

Regional events will take place on the week of March 25 and those selected will go forward to a county selection day which will be held on the week of April 1 in Ballinakil­l.

- May 8 at 11.45 a.m. in Ballinakil­l – One day boys’ nine-a-side hurling blitz. Competitiv­e blitz.

Allianz Camogie Blitz – May 15 at 11.45 a.m. in Ballinakil­l – One-day girls’ nine-a-side camogie blitz. Competitiv­e blitz.

Third and Fourth Class Boys Football - May 22 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – One-day boys’ nine-a-side football blitz.

Third and Fourth Class Girls Football - May 29 at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – One-day girls’ nine-a-side football blitz.

Sports Day Meeting – Thursday, June 6, at 8.00 p.m. in Newtownmou­ntkennedy Primary School. It is imperative that any school participat­ing in Sports Day 2018 is represente­d at this meeting

Sports Day – Wednesday, June 12, at 10.00 a.m. in Charleslan­d Sports and Recreation­al Centre. There are strict age limits for Sports Day.
