Baltinglass Golf Club is now firmly established as one of the finest Parkland courses in Leinster. The course is playable all year round but really comes into its own in the summer months where the expertise and hard work of course superintendents Martin Donegan, Eamon Doherty and the many volunteers is showcased.

Golfers travel from all over the country to experience the unique mix of golf holes, where no 2 holes are alike.

It offers a mix of mature tree lined fairways, wandering deer, the water featured par 3 second hole and our famous first hole which is famed far and wide as one of the finest opening holes in the country.

The club is extremely popular with societies and the number of returns year after year is testament to the quality of the course and the friendliness of the welcome received. Given its modest green fees Baltinglass is without doubt one of the best value courses around.

The committee and members are constantly reinvesting and improving the facilities. Next year a massive drainage project backed by the sports capital grant scheme will commence.

Baltinglass Golf club are offering full membership for new members for €650 plus GUI / ILGU fee and a fantastic offer for people under 35 at €450 plus GUI / ILGU fee.

A Pay & Play option is also available for €220 plus GUI / ILGU fee. New members are being accepted for 2019.

All members are encouraged to introduce one new member. This will be a huge advantage to building the Clubs membership and profile. Stratford Lodge Restaurant at Baltinglass GC The Restaurant and Bar in Baltinglass GC is under new management. Bookings are being taken for christenings, communions, confirmations, weddings, funerals and corporate events.

For January and February the restaurant will be open for breakfast and lunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You will be given a warm welcome on arrival.

Following on from a very successful 90th anniversary year the incoming captains Martin Hennessy and Lil Flynn are looking forward to an action packed year in 2019 and would like to take this opportunity to wish all our members and friends in neighbouring clubs a very happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.
