Cuidiu North Wicklow host best selling author, psychother­apist and attachment specialist Joanna Fortune for the first of their parent to parent evening talks entitled ‘Fifteen Minute Parenting - how to connect with your kids’. The event will take place at the Martello on Wednesday, January 30, at 8 p.m.

Joanna will speak for 45 minutes leaving plenty of time for discussion and questions afterwards. There will also be tea or coffee. cession.

In 1919 the first Dáil convened in Dublin and the first Democratic Programme for Government was devised. There have been changes in Irish society over the last century that would have been inconceiva­ble to those first TDs. This very special concert will reflect on 100 years of the Irish Republic through poetry, music, and song - including a newly composed work by Fiachra Trench and featuring some of Ireland’s finest artists.

This concert is curated by Eamon Sweeney, Music Network Artist in Residence 2018 an initiative of Music Network in partnershi­p with Wicklow County Council Arts Office and Mermaid County Wicklow Arts Centre.

The five-day event kicks off on Wednesday, February 13, with the opening gala featuring Karl Spain; Bray Comedy Festival debutante - Kevin McGahern; John Colleary (Savage Eye); impression­ist Al Foran and Après Match’s Barry Murphy

Other comcis to perform include Edinburgh Comedians’ Choice winner Paul Currie and sell-out success Tony Cantwell, as well as ‘Giz a Laugh’ creator Enya Martin.

There’ll be Father Michael and Kathleen, Scott Carpurro, and loads for kids too.
