Big day for the boys on Thursday

THE Allianz Cumann na mBunscol third and fourth class boys indoor football day takes place on Thursday in Shoreline Leisure Centre, Greystones.

This is a seven-a-side blitz with the focus being on participation rather than competition. As it is an indoor event organisers say that space is limited. The day will be split into three sessions: 10 – 11 a.m., 11.30 -12.30 p.m. and 1 – 2 p.m. with a maximum of six teams able to partake in each session.

Please let Gary McGillycuddy, Oifigeach Peil na mBuachaillí know your preferred time of the three but times cannot be guaranteed as there are other factors influencing the timetable.

Finally, schools are asked that if you have young shistlers willing to attend please let him know too. All are looking forward to a great day of football to start off the New Year!

Indoor Girls Football - Indoor football tournament for girls in third and fourth class takes place week beginning January 21. Your school will be contacted with venue and time.

Camogie Participation Blitz – Wednesday, February 6. Outdoor camogie blitz in Ballinakill at 11.45 a.m. The emphasis in this competition is on participation and sport for all. No age limit, nine-a-side). Full rules.
