Funding available for residents associations

RESIDENTS associations have until Friday, February 22, to lodge their applications for funding through the Estate Development Scheme.

The scheme is run by Wicklow County Council in recognition of the work these voluntary committees put into their local communities.

Applications are invited from residents associations belonging to Wicklow County Council social housing estates for funding in relation to the upkeep of green areas within their estates. Private housing estates in which there are a number of local authority properties may also apply. Application forms can be requested from your relevant Municipal District office in Arklow, Baltinglass, Greystones, The forms are also available at www.wicklow.ie.

Closing date for receipt of applications forms is 4 p.m. on Friday, February 22.
