Aware supportgro­up Alzheimer Cafémeet-up

Aware is hosting a mental health support and self-care group for anyone experienci­ng depression, bipolar disorder and mood-related conditions.

This is a free group and referrals are not required.

The group meets every Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. at the Villa Pacis Centre on the Putland Road in Bray.

The Alzheimer Café meets on the last Thursday of each month from 2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their new venue, Sunbeam House Services, Cedar Industrial Estate, Killarney Road.

This is a voluntary joint initiative by St Columcille’s Hospital and Community Health in South Dublin and Wicklow.

It is free of charge. They welcome people with all types of dementia and their families or carers.

Other comics to perform include Edinburgh Comedians’ Choice winner Paul Currie and sell-out success Tony Cantwell, as well as ‘Giz a Laugh’ creator Enya Martin.

Tickets are available at braycomedy­festival.ie. will present his lecture ‘Charles Cameron – Saving the City of Dublin’. Admission is €5.
