Ten-year drivingban

A Carnew woman was put off the road for 10 years at Arklow District Court on Wednesday.

Samantha Fitzgerald with an address at 16 Tomacork View was charged with driving without insurance and licence and failure to produce documents at Emmet Place, Carnew on October 5, 2017.

The court heard that the defendant is living in difficult circumstances.

A six-month sentence was imposed, suspended for two years in her own bond of €100, along with the driving ban and a €300 fine.
