Cranley on song as Éire Óg triumph

CARNEW had no answer for Éire Óg as they slumped to their second defeat on the trot in this very competitive SFL Division 1A.

Early positivity from James Hickey’s side that saw Conall McCrea fire home a penalty was soon dissolved by the rampaging ire Óg attack led by scorer-in-chief Shaun Cranley.

The Greystones men took a 0-13 to 1-2 lead in at the break and despite McCrea completing his hat-trick in the second half, Éire Óg were unstoppable in the second half as they marched to victory.
