Luan Parle to start Irish tour with date in Bray

LUAN Parle is gearing up for the release of her latest album and will commence an Irish tour taking place next year, starting in her home county of Wicklow.

Luan will be releasing a new album called ‘Never Say Goodbye’ on February 7 and will kick off an Irish tour in January to support the release.

The tour starts at The Mermaid Arts Centre inn Bray at 8 p.m. on Friday, January 17, which coincides with the release of her latest single. Tickets are priced at €16, or €14 with a concession. Tickets are on sale now from www. mermaidart­scentre.ie or by calling the box office on 01 2724030.

‘Never Say Goodbye’ features ten original tracks, including two co-writes with Dire Straits guitarist Hal Lindes. This will be the fourth album release from the Wicklow born songstress. She will be accompanie­d by renowned guitarist Clive Barnes.

Luan has had numerous hits and accolades including Meteor Award for Best Irish Female. Her top 10 hit single ‘Ghost’ spent three months in the Irish Charts and was the most played Irish single of that year.

She signed her first record deal at just twelve years of age before later signing with Sony Music and Elton John’s management company Twenty First Artists.

She has written and recorded with some of the worlds most successful songwriter­s and producers including Grammy award winning Bill Bottrell (Sheryl Crow, Michael Jackson,

Prince, Travelling Wilburys, Elton John) and Billy Steinberg (Madonna, Roy Orbison, Cyndi Lauper, The Pretenders, Whitney Houston, The Bangles, Celine Dion).
