More recently, they joined with the RTE Concert Orchestra to perform the music of ABBA in the National Concert Halle.

ABBAesque will be performing in the Parkview Hotel on Friday, January 24.

Dinner and show tickets cost €45 and guests should arrive at 7.30 p.m.

Tickets for just the show cost €22.50, with the doors opening at 9.30 p.m.

Tickets are available from the hotel reception, by calling (01) 2015600 or emailing info@ parkviewhotel.ie.

The town of Messina in Italy is thrown into a state of wild excitement with the visit of the Prince, Don Pedro, and his army on the way back from the war. Love is in the air, but not for local girl Beatrice and one of the Prince’s officers, Benedick, who despise each other with a passion that surely can’t be quenched?

A Jazz band that will bookend the evening with 5 or 6 short song/comedy performances. Two singers will be Kay Lynch who is a professional soprano who toured with Riverdance for years and Chris Holland who sang in Les Mis in the West End.

It will be night of silliness, song and, of course the play.

Compere for the evening will be Liam Andrews transition year student of Temple Carrig School and the show is all in aid of The Mustard Seed foundation. Tickets are €10 at whaletheatre.ie.
