WorkshopforLEO clients interested in Micro Lean Projects

-

A WORKSHOP designed for Wicklow Local Enterprise Office (LEO) clients who are interested in carrying out a Micro Lean Project will take place in February.

Lean is all about doing things better, which in turn makes your business more profitable. It is shorthand for focusing on effectiveness and efficiency across all areas of a business.

The workshop costs €15 and takes place at Wicklow County Campus, Rathnew on February 5 from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

At this introduction, participants can hear about the latest and most relevant points for the application of Lean principles in SMEs and there is an opportunity to ask questions and share new learning during group exercises.

This half-day workshop will focus on a management approach to ensure the formation of the right culture to bring about sustainable business improvement. It would be most suitable for SME business owners and managers, continuous improvement facilitators, and change managers of Wicklow businesses that have been trading for more than 18 months.

The trainers will be John McDonald and Deirdre Smith, Redefine Consulting Ltd.

Participants will get the opportunity to share different experiences with their peers, identify their possible interest in a Micro Lean Project which will be run later in the year, identify their innovation and change culture and outline their businesses strengths and weaknesses and highlight some areas for improvement.
