ROUNDWOOD VARIETY SHOW

RTÉ ALL WALKS OF LIFE TV SHOW

In 2019 the Brockagh Resource Centre provided the use of our facilities to the new RTÉ show All Walks of Life, starting on Friday, January 17. The second episode of the show will feature Mary McAleese with Amy Huberman walking the St Kevin’s trail in Wicklow and will be broadcast on Friday, January 31, at 8.30 p.m.

MOBILE LIBRARY

The mobile library visits Lynhams car park every second Thursday from 12.15 noon to 12.50 p.m. The next visits will take place on January 16 and 30.

MORNING YOGA WITH LOUISE

Louise’s yoga class will be held every Thursday from 10 to 11.15 a.m. in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. This is a gently paced class where students learn how to align, open and strengthen the body gradually while stabilisin­g the platforms of the feet and ankles, hips and pelvis and shoulder girdle. The class begins with general and targeted warm-up sequences followed by postures (Asanas) and Vinyasa (breath-connected) sequences before final relaxation in Savasana. Chair Yoga Our very popular Chair Yoga class will take place on Thursdays from 11.30 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. Chair Yoga is suitable for almost everyone and helps students find balance and calm in everyday life. The class takes students through centering and breathwork, followed by postures that let the joints move through their range of movement while seated or through use of the chair while standing. IRISH DANCING CLASSES

Irish Dancing on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Classes cater for any age over three years and all levels including absolute beginners. Registered members of An Comhdhail, fully Garda Vetted and insured. Come along to closed AA Meetings in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night, all year round. Everyone welcome.

LARAGH BADMINTON CLUB

Badminton classes are in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh with Monday evenings: Juniors 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (first yr secondary students), 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. (fifth and sixth Class-national school) on Thursday evenings: 6.45 p.m. to 7.45 p.m.(4th class national school), 7.15 p.m. to 8.15 p.m. (teenagers secondary school), Adults 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Contact Phil Curley 0404 45175 or 087 2067607.
