BALTINGLASS GOLF CLUB

Captain Liam Horgan hosted his captain’s prize last weekend. A very popular man from Asdee in the kingdom of Kerry has been a member in the club since 1989.

A retired Seargent with An Garda Siochana, he was also a member of the very successful local GAA team that won the AllIreland club title in 1990.

Liam has worked tirelessly for the club ever since he took on the role of vice-captain and captain. He is always on hand to help out in every way, a great man to have in your corner.

There was a great atmosphere in the club all weekend and it was fitting Liam’s competition was played in sunny conditions with a record entry. With all the restrictions in place the competition was reduced to an 18-hole qualifier with a 9-hole playoff on Sunday evening.
