Greystones company adapted to deal with Covid-19 crisis
WHEN Greystones man Eoin Lynch and his business partner Cara Martin made the brave leap to set up a business at the end of 2019, little did they know that a pandemic was about to spread throughout the world.
Like many Wicklow companies, InvestinU was very much a client-facing business prior to coronavirus, and it was time to adapt. Training became online webinars, and client meetings became zoom meetings.
They became aware of the Wicklow Enterprise Board’s new scheme, the Trading Online Vouchers (TOV): a grant for small to medium-sized enterprises to develop their website.
InvestinU applied for one of these vouchers, and soon they realised that they could help other Wicklow businesses to build their online presence during the pandemic.
With so many local businesses wanting to avail of TOVs, and with websites very much a necessity in today’s business world for sales and bookings, Eoin and Cara identified a new market: they would guide local businesses in the TOV application process.
Eoin and business partner Cara offer an hour of free consultancy for all those applying for the TOV.
This helps businesses to identify how they could adapt and restart their business online. Eoin and Cara are delighted to help Wicklow businesses with the application process, and design quality websites, which they know will increase the revenue of local businesses and establish their digital profile.
But helping companies to claim their TOV and building top websites is not all that InvestinU is known for. Other areas of expertise include data analytics, customised training and consultancy, building bespoke databases, webinars, marketing and branding, plus systems and process development.
Eoin and Cara are sure that those availing of the TOV grant can take this opportunity to increase their company’s online presence, and they’re happy to guide them through the process and lead them to online success.
