CO WICKLOW PPN is organising a few training and information events that will take place over the coming months.

New Options for Funding Your Community Group will run on Tuesday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. on the online Zoom platform. These sessions are aimed at community groups and organisations challenged with a loss of any type of funding and income during the current Covid 19 crisis.

Making the Sustainable Development Goals More Visible in the Life of Co Wicklow will run on Wednesday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. on the online Zoom platform. This event will introduce the Sustainable Development Goals and identify how the work of communities in Wicklow are contributing to these global goals for sustainable development. People will also be introduced to a new online mapping tool that will easily link the local work to the global goals.

Meet Your Elected Representatives are online events running on Thursday evenings in October from 7 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. Elected Reps from each of the Municipal Districts will be asked to talk about the highlights of their first year in office and to tell us what their priorities are for their municipal district going forward. PPN members will also have an opportunity to ask their own questions. The specific dates for each District will be released soon.
